X Games at Buttermilk– January 29 – 31
The premier action sports competition brings over 100 elite ski, snowboard, and snowmobiling athletes, complemented by live electronic music headliners like ZHU and Marshmello.

Palm Tree Music Festival February 20-21 (TBD)
A two-day outdoor festival with Kygo and more at Rio Grande Park.
Toyota U.S. Grand Prix – Buttermilk – February 27 – 28
Elite athletes push for podiums across skiing and snowboarding disciplines.

Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series

Aspen Saturday Market is a must-do in the summer. Colorado’s freshest fruits and vegetables can be found here, and there are always artists and artisans selling their wares. It’s the perfect place to get ingredients for dinner or to shop for a souvenir to remember your trip by.
Snowmass Free Summer Concert Series – Mid-June
Open to all ages, the Snowmass Free Concert Series is a perfect way to spend your evening with family and friends while listening to one of the talented musicians. All you need to do is bring a blanket and a picnic!
Aspen Ideas Health – June 22 – 25
Aspen Ideas: Health is far more than your typical health conference. More than 1,000 inquisitive thinkers will come together to dive into fresh perspectives and transformative ideas for improving health for everyone.

Aspen Ideas Festival – June 25 – July 1
The Aspen Ideas Festival is a gathering of visionary minds from across the world, coming together to explore the big ideas shaping our future and shedding light on the complexities of our present.
Aspen Music Festival Summer Season – June 30 – August 22
The Aspen Music Festival Summer Season has been a summer staple for more than 70 years. Known to be the top classical music festival in the country, hundreds of talented young musicians and teachers play during the eight-week festival.

Aspen knows how to do the 4th of July right! There are multiple celebrations that make Independence Day in our mountain town extra special.

JAS Labor Day Experience – September 3 – 5
What better way is there to enjoy Labor Day Weekend than at a music festival? Some of the top names in music play during the JAS Labor Day Experience.
Snowmass Balloon Festival – September 24 – 26
Every September, the sky fills with color as hot air balloons float among the clouds. During the Snowmass Balloon Festival, you can watch balloons race against each other over the Snowmass Town Park.
Aspen Filmfest
The Aspen Filmfest is always a great time. This non-competitive film festival has an outstanding number of award-winning films like The Imitation Game and Argo. Save the dates and purchase your tickets early, because this festival sells out.
Snowmass Wine Festival
The Snowmass Wine Festival is the Rotary Club of Snowmass Village’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Attend their wine dinner on Friday night, then sip the day away at the Saturday afternoon wine tasting and silent auction.
October
The Meeting – October 17–23, 2026, and October 16–22, 2027
The Meeting is split into two parts: a conference and a film fest. The conference draws top thinkers, influencers, and entrepreneurs to network and discuss the world of content creation. The film fest sets the tone for the upcoming ski season with ski and snowboard films!
December
Ullr Nights at Snowmass – 2026 -2027
Ullr Nights at Elk Camp Snowmass Village are fun for the whole family. Visit every Friday night for hot chocolate, s’mores, and outdoor winter activities. December 23, January 1, February 12, February 19, March 12 and March 19.
12 Days of Aspen
Get into the holiday spirit with 12 Days of Aspen! From ice skating to caroling, each night brings something new to town. On the last day, December 31, make sure you watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks extravaganza over Aspen Mountain.
Wintersköl – December 10 – 13, 2026 (Mid December 2027)
Aspen’s beloved “toast to winter” returns. A tribute to community, mountain spirit, and the vibrant Town of Aspen.
Opening Day – Aspen Highlands & Buttermilk – December 12, 2026 (Usually the same date for 2027)
Highlands brings bold energy and legendary terrain, while Buttermilk welcomes beginners, adventurers, and uphill enthusiasts. Guests can check conditions on the Snowmass Webcam and Web Cam Aspen.
Audi Ajax Cup – December 30, 2026 (TBD 2027, usually the same date)
A premier Aspen tradition. Sixteen teams compete in a dual giant slalom benefiting Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club.
