Kathie has lived in Aspen for more than 13 years. She is originally from Long Island and the Upper West side of Manhattan. A career move to Los Angeles landed her with an opportunity to develop ocean front residential real estate in Marina del Rey. “The 1993 “North Ridge” earthquake was devastating, but it did not scare me! Timing is everything and my partner and I realized that no matter what, people love living on the ocean for all of the obvious reasons!” After a successful real estate venture in Southern California, she moved with her partner to Aspen in 1996 and has since become involved in property investment, development, sales & rentals.
Aside from keeping a keen eye on the real estate market, Kathie is an accomplished “century rider” for the Susan G. Komen “Ride for the Cure.” She also loves to take people on tour all over Aspen and in her spare time, she loves to do ceramic art. From 1999 to 2006 she also owned and operated the infamous “paint-your-own pottery” studio in Aspen called “The Kolor Wheel.”
